How we collect, use, store, and protect data when you use Pulse.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what data Pulse ("we", "us") collects when you use the Pulse platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to your account information and to the analytics, search, commerce, and campaign data your organization connects to Pulse.

2. Account data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from your Google account. We use this to create and identify your account, and to determine which organizations and projects you have access to.

We do not have access to your Google password, and signing in with Google does not give us access to your Gmail, Drive, or other Google services beyond what you explicitly connect (see "Connected data sources" below).

3. Connected data sources

Pulse only accesses third-party data you explicitly connect to a project:

  • Google Analytics 4 — daily aggregate metrics (users, sessions, conversions, and similar) for the property you connect.
  • Google Search Console — daily aggregate search performance (clicks, impressions, position) for the site you connect.
  • WooCommerce — order totals and customer contact details, synced from your store via the Pulse Bridge plugin using an API key you generate and control.

We store this data to render your dashboards and to power AI-generated insights. Removing an integration stops future syncs; it does not automatically delete previously synced data, which you can request removed at any time (see "Your rights" below).

4. Email campaigns

If you use Pulse's email marketing feature, campaign content you write is sent to your synced customers through our email delivery provider (Resend). Recipients can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every campaign email, and we honor that opt-out for all future sends.

5. AI features

Insights, the marketing agent, and knowledge-base search send relevant excerpts of your project's analytics data and uploaded documents to our AI model provider (OpenAI) to generate a response. We do not use your data to train third-party models. The AI marketing agent can draft content (such as an email campaign) for your review, but it cannot send, publish, or take any action on your behalf without a human confirming it first.

6. Who can see your data

Data is scoped to your organization. Within an organization, access to each project is controlled by role and, where configured, per-project access restrictions — an organization owner or admin can always see all projects; a member can only see the projects they've been explicitly granted access to.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account and organization remain active, or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account, an organization, or specific connected data at any time by contacting us — see "Contact" below.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@rojinasafavi.com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Pulse evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify account owners directly.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@rojinasafavi.com.
